Meet Attorney
Clayton Cain

Clayton Cain approaches each case with the same mindset that earned him recognition as a collegiate baseball All-American—through preparation, persistence, and production.

A Lawrenceville native, Clayton is deeply committed to community and service. He is a proud member of the Gwinnett County Baseball Hall of Fame and earned All-American honors at Valdosta State University. While earning his master’s in Sports Administration at Georgia State University, he served as a graduate assistant baseball coach and continued mentoring young athletes through youth baseball.

His interest in law began while working for a prominent Atlanta sports agent and led him to earn his J.D. from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. There, he immersed himself in the nationally ranked trial advocacy program, where he discovered his passion for trial work. While clerking for Judge Tom King in Jefferson County, Clayton witnessed firsthand the impact of powerful advocacy in personal injury trials—a calling that would shape his legal career.

After gaining experience at a top Atlanta firm focused on catastrophic injury and wrongful death, Clayton returned to his hometown and opened his own practice. He now leads 3Summits Law, an innovative firm grounded in community values and focused on four key practice areas: Business Law, Personal Injury, Real Estate, and Sports Law. Whether helping entrepreneurs grow and protect their businesses, advocating for individuals and families after life-changing injuries, guiding clients through complex real estate matters, or advising athletes and industry professionals, Clayton is committed to delivering personalized, strategic, and effective legal support across every area of the firm’s practice.

Clayton is proud to represent individuals, families, and businesses during some of the most challenging times they face—whether recovering losses, navigating complex transactions, or resolving high-stakes disputes. “Our clients come to us needing clarity and a strong advocate,” he says. “It’s our job to push back against obstacles—and deliver results that matter.”

Recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2020 and an active member of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce’s executive board, Clayton continues to make an impact both professionally and personally. Outside of the office, he enjoys golfing, hiking, camping, and spending time with his son, Ridge, and their Chocolate Labs, Luna and Willow.

Clients regularly commend Clayton for his professionalism, empathy, and relentless pursuit of justice. He sees every case as an opportunity to restore hope, provide clarity, and fight for a better future on behalf of those he serves.
